Mountainview was referred to us just after we moved our large animal rescue from California to Montana. (Best decision ever! BTW).
We have rescued over 6000 animals and worked with the highest kill shelters in So. Cal. and street dogs of Mexico since 2004.
Whenever one thinks they have seen it all, trust us....they haven’t!
Our favorite exception to this rule is Dr. Ellie Reedy!
She really has seen it all and she treats both her patients and clients with so much respect and honesty that it is simply refreshing.
She never does anything to drive up unnecessary tests or add items to the bill.
She is probably the best surgeon I’ve ever known and she uses her past experiences, practicality and intuition in helping to accurately diagnose her patients.
My rescue babies and personal babes all adore her and she truly cares so much that she makes herself available after hours on an emergency line if needed.
I don’t know how she balances everything so well while keeping the best calm, respectful attitude to all her staff, clients and colleagues.
But, all I know is she is the best. A hard act to follow.
She makes all of us better people by sharing her talent and skills and great advice with those of us lucky enough to call her “our best vet ever!”
You are loved Dr. Ellie!
Thank you for taking care of all our fur kids and keeping us all on the rails.
We seriously would never have made it without you;)

I have had a dog for about 12 years. I have had 3 or 4 vets and for the first time 3 or 4 years ago I found a vet who lives by her standards and treated my dog with the love and compassion only a true animal lover could. She went way beyond what any vet I have ever worked with to help my dog heal and help him pass through the transition with dignity. She is the best vet surgeon who really does know what she's doing. She is also willing to work with someone like me who demands the best for my pets as I put her through the grill to make sure he was getting the care I knew he deserved. She passed her tests with grace and skill. I am fortunate to say she will be my new dog's vet when he comes to my home in June.
